Bear finally lost his 1st tooth!

And he was so excited! He has wanted to lose his first tooth since Bug lost hers at 4 years old. Bear was 3 at the time, and he had no idea that he'd have to wait three long years for that chance. When I figured out that he had a loose tooth, he started jumping up and down and trying everyday to wiggle it out. All his hard work finally paid off yesterday! He ran around the house jumping and yelling. We put the tooth in his special tooth pillow that I made for him, and the tooth fairy was generous enough to leave him a dollar bill!

He has another loose tooth. The one right next to his new hole. I'm sure he'll be wiggling that one soon too!

Pictures!

Here are a few of the pictures we took while the boys were here. We all had a great time and Tony & Andy really liked having a little Brother and Sister to play with.

Another Update.

My computer is still broken but I've managed to use one of my old ones until I can get mine fixed. At least I can access the internet now! The time with the boys went really well. We had a lot of fun, and took HUNDREDS of pictures. Their constant teasing of each other was quite annoying but you can't win 'em all. They easily took to the kids and myself and we were really surprised. The first half of the trip, Andy was the kids' entertainment, but by the end of the weekend, Tony had taken on the role of protective big brother. They absolutely adore having a little sister.

Of course they love Bear as well, but since all they've known is brothers, Bug was like the shiny new toy. Tony was always watching over Bug, making sure she was okay, and cuddling her or holding her hand on the hikes. We had fun in the snow, hiking, lazer tag, mini-golf, lagoon, playing pool, movies, bowling, and with the activities at Snowbird.

Two Down One To Go...

The strong winds last night blew another of our neighbor's trees down. Again, luckily it didn't land on our house. It landed on his again but it doesn't seem to have caused any damage. He had 3 very large dead poplar trees against the fence when we moved in. A couple months after we moved in, there was a microburst that uprooted the first tree and took out the side of his house and his part of the fence.

We've talked to him about having them removed, but he told us he doesn't have the money. We worry about the trees everytime we have strong winds. This time the tree snapped off at the bottom. We heard the first tree fall, but didn't hear anything last night. I took Mischa out this morning and noticed one of the trees was missing. I am so happy that it's gone now and I just hope that when the third tree falls, it wont be on our house.
