Bug's Birthday Party

Bug had a great time at her birthday party this year. Although we had several no shows, it was still a full house. And as usual, Bug got quite a haul. She received clothes, a baby stroller, toys, headbands, smelly lotion, a princess castle, fake nails... And her favorite, an MP3 player. (Added to her other birthday presents she got on Thursday, which included a book, some fairy lanterns, a talking princess vanity and some jewelry to go with it!) Can we say spoiled?? She's running around with her hair done up, makeup on her face, cool new clothes and her mp3 player. You would think she's a teenager!!! I'd love to post pictures, but since I'm on a borrowed laptop, I didn't think it fair to install a bunch of programs on here. I will post pics as soon as I can though. Bug really enjoyed her Strawberry Shortcake cake too.

Happy Birthday Bug!!!

My beautiful baby girl is growing into a gorgeous young lady! Today is Bug's 6th birthday!! So far it's been a great day for her since her Daddy took the day off work to spend time with her and we took the kids to breakfast at IHOP where they enjoyed a HUGE funny face chocolate chip pancake... Then we took them to a surprise movie, "The Spiderwick Chronicles." They didn't know we were going and they loved it!! Bear was sitting on the edge of his seat the entire time whispering to the characters to RUN!!! lol After the movie, Bear turned to me and said I liked it! It was full of magical creatures. Bug really liked her birthday surprise. They munched on popcorn and soda the entire time!

In Loving Memory

My sweet loving horse Pantabarr passed away last night. He was so beautiful. He's been a wonderful friend for many years and he fought so hard to stay with us after he became ill. Bug is heartbroken. My poor girl. She's been upset and crying all morning. He was her best friend! We're all pretty miserable today. Things have been pretty hard on us lately. We'll all miss Pantabarr so much. He was a wonderful horse.

Superbowl and Anniversary

Today is mine and Jeff's official 1 year anniversary. We were planning to go out to dinner tonight, but since I have health problems, that's out of the question. I didn't even get to go out on my birthday. So we got some low fat munchies instead. Jeff doesn't like football, so we're just going to hang out, watch some movies, and try to stay warm!! The satellite will most likely go out today anyway. And who in their right mind would go anywhere in this weather?!?!
