Update on Life

We're still crazy busy lately. We redecorated our kitchen, which took more time (and money) than we expected. We're now finished with that and we love it. Now we're working on painting our livingroom. We've hit a couple snags, since our basement flooded at the same time. Apparently one of our pipes rotted through.

We emptied the school room, and tore out the pad. As we speak, I've got a giant carpet blower under the carpet. And since we have a time limit on all this, we're a bit stressed. Bear and Jeff's birthday party is coming up quick! It doesn't help that we've been sick and exhausted for 5 weeks now. UGH!!

The kids are doing great, and growing fast, like always. Bug recently lost her 8th baby tooth. I didn't post a pic this time, because the other computer is put away at the moment because of the flood, so I have no way to put pics on this computer unless I add my camera program to it. Which I may just end up doing. Bear is jealous of all Bug's teeth falling out, he wants a loose tooth so badly. But since he was a late teether as a baby, I have a feeling he wont lose any teeth until closer to 6 years old.

I'm having a hard time taking in the fact that my baby is turning 5 years old. It seems like I just had him. I hate that they grow up so fast. Bug is learning to read. She's being a bit stubborn but I'm trying not to push her. Bear doesn't seem interested at all. He just wants to have stories read to him and he likes to look at the pictures. I think I might have to shove him a little to get him started.

Well anyhow, that's the update on us, and we hope everyone else's lives have been a little more relaxed lately!

Too Beautiful For Words...

It's never gonna end!!!

It seems like we've been working on the kitchen for YEARS now, and it's still not done!!! Man oh man! I'm about to say "I quit!" I mean, already it looks better, but I didn't realize how much work this was going to be. I'm sick of the dust, paint, mess, not having a kitchen period. I just want everything to be finished so I can look at it and say "Okay so maybe it was worth it." And I'm crazy enough to want to paint the livingroom too? What is wrong with me? Ugh.

Seventh

My not so little Bug lost her 7th baby tooth yesterday afternoon. It's been wiggly for what seems like forever and for some reason she just decided to push a little harder on it. That broke it loose and there was no stopping her after that. She pulled it out all by herself and she was extremely excited! The tooth fairy left her a dollar like always. I think this kid is trying to break the bank! I did take a picture, but since my computer is still broken, and I'm using Mary's... I don't feel right loading her computer with pictures. So as soon as I get a little extra time, I'll load the pic onto a different computer and transfer it here. So anyway... 7 teeth down, and 1 more loose one to go!
