The Official New Moon Teaser Trailer!!!

I am so excited, I just had to post this! Twilight won 5/7 awards tonight at the MTV Movie Awards! Yay! They also revealed the first official trailer for New Moon!! It looks amazing! Jake's "fursplosion" looks awesome, and I can't wait until November! Check out the trailer above by the kiss picture! By the way, I hope you're enjoying all my new Twilight and New Moon graphics posted everywhere, because I'm having fun making them! LOL

Feeling Artistic.

I've been playing around with some photos tonight. Morphing, editing, changing, etc. Here's a couple quick edit jobs. Sepia is the favorite of the night... *I also did the Tiny Toes picture in color.*

BBQ Fun!

While we all enjoyed the sunshine and nice weather at Uncle Bryan and Aunt Robin's house, the kids were treated to a nice surprise!

Cabin creepy crawlies

While searching for lizards, Bug flipped a log over and discovered a small scorpion!! The first one we've ever found up there. She did the right thing and ran in and told Papa and Grandma. They didn't actually believe her at first. Ha. They went out to investigate, confirmed her story and then caught it in a big glass jar so we could all observe it. Later in the day, Bear was planning on making mud cake. He pulled out a metal mixing bowl, kept outside for just such recipes. He suddenly freaked out about a spider on the bowl. He isn't fond of spiders, so we assumed there was a jumping spider or something. Jeff and I went to check it out and under the lip of the bowl was a very large creepy spider, which greatly resembled a black widow, only it was brown and no hour glass! I immediately checked Bear and asked him if he had been bitten. He said no, he had just lifted the bowl up and saw the spider underneath.

We decided to throw the spider in with the scorpion to see who would win in a fight. I took many pictures, and after a while, Jeff went and found a giant ant and added it to the mix. After many more pictures, and lots of scorpion stings, the ant died. But the spider stayed strong despite also having many stings. We watched them for the rest of the day, and then released them on our way home. It was a great learning experience for the kids. They also realized why we always tell them to use caution when flipping things over!

Amazing!

There simply isn't any better title for this post. We took a quick trip up to Red Butte Gardens yesterday before Bear's birthday party. We've been trying to get up there since before Easter. We wanted to try out our new camera, get some recent pictures of the kids, and enjoy the sunshine. We dressed the kids in their new outfits, and I spent an hour being trigger happy with the camera. The pictures are AMAZING!

Chocolate!!!

As you can tell, we really enjoyed our chocolate covered fruit party... Sometimes we skipped the fruit and went straight for the chocolate!

An Unexpected Visitor

As the kids were preparing to go to Papa and Grandma's house today, they were running around the front yard. Bug stumbled upon (and almost stepped on) a female pheasant. At the same time, my neighbor across the street came home, and saw us standing there watching it. He came across the street for a closer look, and he told us that he hasn't seen any pheasants in this neighborhood in 20 years. How cool is that, that the pheasant would choose my yard to visit! The kids and I were able to get very close to her. I took these photos, but I wish I had gotten some while she was walking around. I lightened one of the photos so you can see her a little better since she's laying in the shadow. She's still just laying out there!

A little late.

I thought I had posted this already, but apparently not, so here it is. This is our Egg Dye Party. Everyone one had lots of fun! There's still glitter all over my kitchen!

A Bug in a... bed?

Bug got herself stuck in her bed one day... Good thing Daddy came to her rescue!

My Little Bear

So I took some pictures of my little Bear tonight, and as I'm looking at them, I'm noticing that he isn't so little anymore. In fact he's going to be 6 years old in a week, and I'm having a hard time handling that. It's sad. He's not my baby anymore, and it's hard to grasp. So anyway, here's the pictures so you can all see how not so little he is.
